When I boot or shutdown Fedora Core 5.0 I see this error an error about reading ifcfg-eth0, and then the boot process says that it will use default values. dmesg says:
sorry, as jlightner said, I gave the wrong path. I menat the file in network-scripts.

I'm using the device driver that setup gave me. But even if it was the wrong driver, why would the card work, and why give such an odd error? The card is a 3COM 3CCE589EC which I have seen on hardware lists.
